DNAC Mural Update: April 19, 2011

“I’ve learned how to paint wings. First, you lay out the shape of the wings. Make sure you don’t use white first. After that, use dark colors and then lighter ones. Then, use dry brush strokes for each feather. Lastly, stagger the feathers rather than stack them in one spot.

I think we are doing a great job on this. It really is looking good. I like the whole mural, from the tree to the ships in space. There is nothing I would take out. Also, it has been a great learning experience for me and the other students in this program.”
